Question:

What is a Plaxo Signature and how do I create one?

Answer:

What is a Plaxo Signature and why would I want one?

E-mail signatures are a small section of text and graphics attached to the end of outgoing e-mails and are a feature of Outlook and Outlook Express. Plaxo enables members to create enhanced signatures with customized images, colors, fonts, and always-updated contact information.

The Plaxo E-mail Signature also features an address map and URL link function. If you live in the United States and your Plaxo E-mail Signature contains your work or personal address, recipients of your e-mail can click on that address to link to it on Yahoo! Maps.  We are working to support map-lookups for members outside the United States.

The contact information contained in your Plaxo E-mail Signature will update automatically whenever you change or add to the information on your Plaxo Cards, so people you e-mail will always have your most current contact information without any effort on your part.

Okay, I'm sold!  How do I make a Plaxo Signature?

You can activate your Plaxo Signature in two easy steps:

  1. On the Plaxo Toolbar for Outlook and Outlook Express, click on the “Plaxo” icon.
  2. Click on “E-mail Signature" and follow the prompts.
